UNDP HLPF High Level Side Event on Climate Disruption

About the event:
The UNDP and the Alliance of Small of Island States are hosting a side event on disrupting the climate status quo. This event will be an interactive and thought-provoking discussion on the climate crisis, the defining issue of our time. Learn what some of the leading climate disrupters are doing to accelerate action on climate change to make the biggest impact.

Ambassador Lois Young, Government of Belize and Chair of AOSIS

Ambassador Thilmeeza Hussain – Government of the Maldives
Dr. Katherine Wilkinson – Project Drawdown and renowned speaker on climate change solutions
Dr. Lisa Zaval – Behavioral psychologist and expert on climate change decision-making
Jamie Margolin – Renowned youth activist and co-founder of ZeroHour
Khyati Rathore – Architect and Global South Youth Climate Representative of YOUNGO
Hindou Ibrahim – Indigenous Peoples Champion, Association for Indigenous Women and Peoples of Chad

The event is open to the public but space is limited so please register here by this Friday. UN grounds pass holders do not need a special event pass. ll Participants are required to register in advance.
