Abstract

Drawing on interviews with senior officials of Peacebuilding Commission member countries, as well as UN, government, and civil society stakeholders in New York, Burundi, and Sierra Leone, this report assesses whether the Peacebuilding Commission is on the right track and makes recommendations to further consolidate its emerging role and enhance its impact.

It is an independent analysis commissioned by the Permanent Mission of Denmark to the United Nations and conducted jointly with the NYU Center on International Cooperation.
