About the event:
At this meeting, New York Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (NYOCHR) Director Craig Mokhiber will meet with CSOs. Eleanor Openshaw of International Service for Human Rights will present proposals developed during a State Retreat on Civil Society Access and Participation intended to increase and safeguard civil society representation. The meeting will also reference "Report of the High Commissioner for Human Rights on procedures and practices in respect of civil society engagement with international and regional organizations" (see attached).

CSOs will have the opportunity to be briefed and to engage in dialogue with the NYOHCHR.

Please indicate if there are any specific concerns and/or questions that you would like to be addressed during this meeting to by Thursday June 13th at 5 pm.

This consultation is open to Civil Society representatives. UN event attendance requires a UN badge.
