About the event:
As requested by the Chairs of the UN human rights treaty bodies, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) is pleased to invite you to a consultation with civil society representatives during their thirty-first meeting. Informal consultations with States parties as well as UN partners and NGOs are a standard feature of the annual meeting of chairpersons. The objective of the consultation is to exchange views on relevant issues.

Topics:
(a) The upcoming 2020 review of the treaty body system by the UN General Assembly: opportunities and key recommendations ahead of the review
(b) Enhancing the cooperation between the United Nations human rights treaty bodies and civil society organizations
(c) AOB

This consultation is open to Civil Society representatives. UN event attendance requires a UN badge.
