Abstract	This Special Research Report analyses the third year of operations of the UN’s Peacebuilding Commission (PBC), and is a follow-up to Security Council Report’s Special Research Reports of 18 October 2008 [3] and 5 October 2007 [4], analysing the second and first years of the work of the PBC, respectively, and the Special Research Report [5] of June 2006 which reported on the lead-up to and establishment of the PBC.
